Geek Revolution Radio #146 – Characters We Love: Darth Vader

July 27, 2016

The chosen one. The dark lord. The betrayer. The dark lord of the Sith… but most of all, we simply know him as Darth Vader.  He is sinister, evil, and all around loved by many.  On this weeks episode, we discuss all there is to love about Lord Vader, as well as dive into many facets of his character, why he is who he is, and why we love him so much.

Who is the most iconic character in any form of fiction?  Who stands out more than any other, not just in the geek world, but in all forms
of entertainment? A question with many answers, but most would say Darth Vader is the near the top of the list when it comes to the iconic.  It’s hard to look at any form of film and say there are characters more recognizable or mesmerizing as Vader, and Will and Ryan go farther and farther down the rabbit hole discussing his character in depth.
To start off the show, Will gives a review of the new Ghostbusters movie, as well as a review of Star Trek Beyond.  Giving his approval of both films, and which one is worth checking out.
Will and Ryan discuss all that came out of Comic Con this year, including a number of new trailers.
So how do you feel about Darth Vader?  Is he the most iconic character in fiction?  Get into conversation at Facebook.com/GeekRevolutionRadio
