The Farting Corner w/ Bob

Bob railed on the live-only show #170, against Bing Rewards

We have a response from microsoft about bobs rant…

Bobs thoughts:

1. I hear coder and I tremble. Brazilian wax

2. He sounds drunk

3. purposely capsize?

4. Bing Maps must rock just as much as Bing rewards on WP

The Frontlines

Bob:The death of net neutrality. Not dead

Steel:  Facebook. The app we love to love and hate. It’s kinda like a crazy sex hungry stalker that is trolling all your data for more data… and then selling it. Well Facebook seems to have seen that we love to love and hate it and they are planning to do something about it. Privacy is getting an upgrade! GASP! That’s right, soon you will be able to log into 3rd party Facebook apps anonymously! Why should you care? Because we’re become a little too free with our data over the past few years and there are a significant number of us who are now rising up to reclaim our privacy. Facebook has claimed to be concerned about this. We shall see if this comes to pass.

Option:Get your ass to a conference

TEA  BAGGIN Audio Ebola

Premise:  We want to give you some bad music to respawn to.  These are our songs:

Steel’s first with

Avril – Hello Kitty LMAO WTF

Why it’s good to respawn with? It’s energetic enough to make me want to get out of spawn so I can shut it off.

Bob comes up with:

No I’m not happy.

Why it’s good to respawn with?

This song will make you miserable. I don’t care how many damn times it says happy. I’m miserable when I die and this song takes me even further into the depths of despair. Need to respawn to destroy any and all devices that can produce this.

And we finish with Option’s choice:

Scat Man by Scatman John

and Why it’s good to respawn with?

You can’t help yourself.  You just can’t.

Logan has:

And this is why:

SELF-EVIDENT

Noobie Toobie W/ Steel

This week on Noobie Toobie I discuss the difference between strategy vs tactics. The two are not the same term and often confused and thought to be the same thing. Strategy is, in a nutshell, the what or the goal of what you are trying to accomplish. Tactics are first the why and secondly the how of how that goal is achieved. An example is probably best explained in a randomly selected RTS game ….. Wargame Red Dragon (pimp achieved). In Wargame the goal is to beat the other opponent duh. So let’s boil it down to strategy and tactics. The enemy has a strong ground presence in it’s norther sector. They guard a sea port. Tanks, APCs, patrol boats and ground troops. The tactic is to capture the northern sector. The strategy  are to use air superiority to destroy the opposition and then reinforce the area with our own ground troops. How would this look in a RTS game like Wargame Red Dragon?

Step 1: Designate the area to capture. SEAPORT. Why? Because they capturing the seaport opens up a whole new method of shipping and movement.SHITTING AND THE TOAST

Step 2: RELEASE THE POGS! and rush in APC’s to hold the cleared area while heavy tanks and anti-air setup for a counter strike. Lastly, move in your own sea patrol and cargo.

Step 3: Profit

So to sum up. Tactics are the Goal of capturing an area that gives you an advantage over your enemy. Tactics is the How to achieve that goal.

SMOKIN OPTIONS

A SMOKE:

Diesel Unlimited Maduro- Presidente (7†x 58 )

NOT for the faint of heart here, this is the big boy kind of cigar you have read or heard stories about but never had the balls to smoke.

A GAME:

The secret world

It kicks ass- do you really need to know more than that?

And finally. .. Steel and Option got to sit down with Pete Hines of Bethesda. .
