WEEKLY REWIND:

Luke finished up Silicon Valley S3 and Veep S5. Sam checked out the Batman v Superman: Ultimate Edition cut. The boys both saw Batman: The Killing Joke and let's just say it didn't meet expectations.

A ton of trailers our of Comic-Con and we cover the big ones: Ash vs. Evil Dead S2, The Walking Dead S7, Marvel's Iron Fist / Luke Cage / The Defenders, Doctor Strange, Kong: Skull Island, Blair Witch, Wonder Woman, Justice League.

TOPIC: GHOSTBUSTERS (2016)

In our very first episode we talked about the first trailer for this film, at length, and reasoned why it was such a bad preview. The film is much better than you would expect from that misguided marketing material.

During our debrief we cover the film's tone and humour, its odd pace, the sci-fi/paranormal elements, cameos, Holtzmann, the missing dance sequence and the importance of the film whether you liked it or not.
