Jodie Hollander, poet! Jodie Hollander is on the show today. She's an American poet whose career really started in the UK, and she's currently staying in Santa Barbara through the good graces of the Morris Squire Foundation. You might remember hearing about them from a few episodes back when I interviewed Kathy Kissik. She had several appearances and readings coming up and we're very lucky she reads some of her works on this show, including My Dark Horses, the title of her upcoming collection. In this interview we talk about her upbringing, fighting against the trends of poetry, living in the UK, and the preponderance of horses in her works.
