On this episode I Lexi and I spoke all about her journey with photography all the way from the very begging. I have been enjoying these conversations because it gives new photogs a good insight as to how different each individuals journey into a photography business can be. There is no right or wrong way just your way.

Excerpt from her site: Hi! The gal behind the camera here. I’m Lexi. I grew up in a small town in Northeast Pennsylvania on a beautiful lake where you never wanted summers to end and it seemed like winters never would.

Photography has always been a passion of mine, from the time I was a toddler fascinated with my moms Panasonic camcorder, to when I bought my first real big girl camera at 13, to then finally attending college to make it a career. After graduating college with my associates degree in photography, my wanderlust decided it was time for a change of scenery, so I bought a one way ticket to Maui where I ultimately stayed when I was continuously inspired by the magic of the island and the potential to grow my business here.

I adore capturing the connection between couples and families while being in breathtaking landscapes. 
I’m obsessed with being around good energy.

I love people who are making a difference in the world. I love capturing human emotion and hopefully it evokes emotion inside of you to find value in the work I do. I also hope some of my work might cause you to act, to question some things, and make a change to create the reality you have the ability to create. Life is all about this moment.

Experience is king and I try to immerse myself in the present moment and experience as much as I can. I wish to get drunk on the moment and freeze it for others to feel. I am so grateful that photography gives me the ability to show others how precious this life is. Thank you. I can’t wait for a lifetime of capturing moments.
