Jovanni and I talk with Jesse Nevel, national chair of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement. We discuss the horrifying raid conducted by the FBI against the African People's Socialist Party (APSP) and its chairman Omali Yeshitela, among a slew of other APSP folks and locations. The FBI branded them as victims and suspects of Russian influence and propaganda, despite the APSP's long history and solidarity with people struggling under colonialism.

Jesse Nevel became active in the movement for reparations to African people in 2010 when he met Chairman Omali Yeshitela and the African People's Socialist Party, A P S P in St. Petersburg, Florida. He, he has served as a national chair of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement (USM) since 2014, building white solidarity with black power and raising reparation. From the white community to the African liberation struggle under leadership of the APSP in 2017. As part of the strategy led by the APSP to introduce to reparation demand into electoral electoral arena, Jesse ran for mayor of St. Petersburg, Florida with the slogan Unity through Reparations, his one of the four rural movement representatives, identified as an unindicted co-conspirator by the FBI, with the bogus charge of being a Russian agent facing indictment and arrest any day Now today, Jesse leaves lives in St. Louis, Missouri, where he works with, where he works for the Uhuru Center, one of the APSP owned buildings that was rated by the FBI on July 29th of last year.
