Episode 19: Tiffany Haddish

April 15, 2014

Eleanor and Lexi sit down with Tiffany Haddish and learn all about her first 5!
Tiffany credits her social worker for some of her success as a comedian/actress. Growing up in foster care in South Central Los Angeles, it was her excessive talking and imaginary friends that prompted her social worker to steer her in to stand-up comedy. As a child, Tiffany grew up aspiring to be a horse farmer or work in a beef jerky factory but instead she enrolled into the world famous Laugh Factory Comedy Camp for Children. Tiffany has been making people laugh ever since. Not only is she a comedian, she is also a self-proclaimed dancing machine. You may have seen her on such shows as: That's So Raven (Disney Channel), My Name Is Earl (NBC), It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX) , Just Jordan (Nickelodeon) and Bill Bellamy's Who's Got Jokes (Tvone) Def Comedy Jam (HBO). Tiffany's comedy has taken her all over the world. She recently returned from performing on the USO Tour in Japan for U.S. Troops. She has performed all over Southern California at various comedy clubs and local venues such as: The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store and Improv. She also performs at a comedy show "Chuckles Not Knuckles", a program she developed for inner-city high school students that promotes non-violence. Tiffany sees herself as sexy as Halle Berry, as funny as Jim Carrey, raw like Richard Pryor with the comedic timing of Lucille Ball, smooth like Eddie Murphy, Jewish as Whoopie Goldberg and hopes to some day have money like Oprah.
