Nfl "considering" adding a 7th seed to playoffs, only giving a bye to the 1 seed and adding a third game to each conference on wild card weekend. More pressure to get top seed or less pressure to win because an extra team gets in? This season was the greatest week 16 and 17 ever because of the battles for few spots. Throw an extra slot in and you diminish the importance of every win.
