Episode 60 - Charles in Charge

December 21, 2013

The Colts are the first and ONLY team to clinch their division heading into week 16, yet they are perhaps the weakest of the AFC playoff teams.

Gary Kubiak fired, Dennis Allen, Mike Munchack, Mike Shannahan, might be next.

Both the Jets and Giants are officially eliminated from the playoffs, which coach is in more danger of not returning.

Despite beginning the season with Mike Vick under center and a dreadful defense, the Eagles can clinch the NFC East this weekend with a cowboys loss. Tallest of the midgets in a poor division or have they proved themselves. Can they win a game in the playoffs? potential first round opponents will be 9ers or panthers.

The Rams might be in last place in their division, the best in the NFC, but they’re coming off a huge win against New Orleans and have won I believe 4 of 6 with Kellen Clemmons under center. Their defense is rough and tough and don’t get penalized much. They have the youngest receiving corp in the league and a breakout rookie RB in Zac Stacy. They also will have potentially the #2 overall pick in the draft, along with their own first round pick. They can potentially take Clowney at 2 and then a qb at say 12-15 when they pick. This is a team that I think will be competing for the NFC in a couple of years.

Smith had 287 yards passing and 5 tds. of those yards/td, Charles had 195 of them and 4 tds. The power of the screen. throw a 5 yard pass, get 40 out of it and just collect the numbers.

Jaamal Charles has a historic game as the Chiefs continue their offensive assault over the past few weeks. If you were starting a team right now, would you take Charles, Peterson, McCoy?

Similar question,

Megatron, Larry-Fitz, Alshon Jeffery

Peyton is at 4,811 yards and 47 tds on the season. Chances he breaks yards or td record? Which would be more significant?

yards:5476 (brees) tds: 50 (brady)
