Chiefs defense

31 sacks, 10 interceptions, 8 fumble recoveries, 5 tds in 6 weeks. Have only allowed 17 points 1 time. And only 6 touchdowns all season.

Coaching hot seat

Schiano, Kubrick, Rivera, Shannahan, Coughlin, Smith, Frazier,

Gary Kubiak, Mike Shannahan, and Mike Smith all made the playoffs this year and were on the short list in their conferences to make it again this year. However, through 6 weeks, these 3 coaches have a combined 4-12 record. Smith’s Falcons are 1-4 and have lost Julio Jones for the season and Roddy is fading fast. Shannahan is 1-4 and struggling to make sense of what has become of RG3 and Alfred Morris. Kubiak is 2-4 and cant seem to find a qb to throw to the right team. 5 consecutive weeks with a pick 6, now with 2 different qbs. the texan defense isn’t much better, allowing the rams to beat them up 24-13 with a final score of 38-13 after 2 defensive tds.

The big brown jaguar

Brandon Wheedon threw one of the worst interceptions ever. It’s a turnover that is almost as bad as the butt fumble. This guys career as a starter is over. I don’t know why they don’t start Jason Campbell. Hoyer starts and then win 3 straight. Wheedon comes back and they lose. However, their defense is solid and their receivers look to be vastly improving. As proof by the 3 game win streak under Boyer, they’re a qb away from competing in their division. On the other side of the AFC are the 0-6 jags.

The jags went into Denver and kept it close for 30 minutes of football. The point I want to make is that with Henne under center and Blackmon back, this team has a chance to win a game or two this year and looks to have a very dynamic receiving core going forward. Cecil shorts, Blackmon, Williams, and Marcedes at TE. It looks like one area they won’t have to address in the draft. Going a step further, if they end up getting teddy Bridgewater without having to move up for him, they can use the rest of their picks on the o-line and defense. Plugging a star qb in with their current receivers, they may be in position to compete much sooner than expected. So my question is this. 2 to 3 seasons from now, who will you fear more, the browns or the jags.

The jets prove to be consistently inconsistent

Revis gives up 6 catches and 2 td’s to D-jax. no longer the best in the league. but where do we rank him among the Patrick Peterson, Richard Sherman, Joe Haden, Charles Tillman, Jonathan Joseph.

Chargers stun the colts on Monday night. Can’t wait for next Sunday night.

Need more proof that defense wins championships… The packers ravens game went into halftime with a score of 6-0. This, despite over 200 million dollars worth of quarterback contracts on the field.

I want know which is worse, fans cheering when a player who is playing poorly gets injured, or a player celebrating when their team is losing. Fans cheered when Matt Schaub went down. Should victor Cruz do his salsa if he scores a to against the Viking? They are 0-6. I have no problem with players celebrating after by plays, sacks, tds etc. I do have a problem with it if the team has a losing record or they are down in the game. Now if the jags or giants get a win, I can see some celebration at the end of the game, but only because it’s their first win.

Giving patriots credit where it’s due.

As much as I really hate, and I don’t use that word often when referring to teams, however, I really hate this team. But, do we have to look at this team and give them credit for being 5-1 when they are down Amendola,Vareen, Gronk, Willfork, and now Jerod Mayo and possibly Aquib Talib. They’re using rookie undo after WR’s their potential star TE Zachary suddenly was a bust who never caught a single pass for them is gone. The team that ruled the TE passing game hasn’t had one all year. While it’s true they’ve played a relatively soft schedule, they are still 5-1 and just beat the unbeaten saints. Are they a legit threat in the afc or will they get exposed when they play a team like the colts or Broncos?

Giant’s sign Peyton Hillis
