Are You Getting the Flu Shot?

September 13, 2013

Are you getting the flu shot? The decision you make could be important to your health. Why? Because of several reasons that pertain specifically to the state of your health.

  • Does your immune system behave in a normal fashion? If yes, there may not be too many risks to getting the flu shot and, in the long run, could keep you from contracting at least one or two varieties of seasonal flu.

Each year scientists make their best guess about what variants of the flu to put into the upcoming fall flu vaccine. They base their decision on many factors, one important one being what variant was flu during the last flu season.

  • Or- does your immune system seem to behave abnormally? Such as have you had a history with an immune system illness of some sort? It might be characteristics of Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or some autoimmune illness. Do you feel as if you get sick easily? Do you get every “bug” going around? Are you sick as much in the wintertime as you are ill? (Or more sick than well?)

If your immune system leans towards the weaker side, this situation points to an imbalance within you. You may be weaker than the average person or you may easily fall into a repeat trap such as a symptom spiral. As soon as you get well, you’re beginning to get sick with something again! How can this be?

In my way of understanding this particular problem, you have a dys-optimal immune system that is stuck in an energy loop. Such a pattern is not conducive to your long term health. As soon as you’re recovering a bit, your immune system starts to weaken again. The only way to clear up such a pattern is to get healing work done on your immune system.

Otherwise, every time you get a vaccine shot, you’re disrupting your immune system once again. Such a disruption impacts your body’s energy pattern, kind of like inserting a bomb into your blood stream and expecting to not see anything but positive results! It doesn’t work that way for such folks.

This last year I’ve taken two vaccines that I felt were important to my long term health: the Shingles vaccine and the pneumonia shot. Neither one caused me to have adverse reactions. But I do not plan to take the flu shot. As long as my immune system is balanced, strong and energetically performing in an optimal manner, I should be safe from any bad occurrence of the seasonal flu. And even so, the scientists are only guessing at what components from last year’s flu season to include in this year’s flu shot. It’s not worth it to me. You must make your own choice or set a new course for improving your energy balance and immune system capabilities.
