St. Paul faced a challenge from people who were "better" than him, and from his own inner challenges, yet God's grace was sufficient. The disciples went out in weakness, with only tunic, sandals, and the good news, and God's grace was sufficient. In the turbulence of modern life, God's grace is sufficient for us, too.
