Paul is talking to Jews:You who call yourself Jews (NLT), calling them out to the equivalent of “you who call yourself ChristiansYou say you relying on God and are actually tightYou claim that you know Him and simply because you have been taught His lawYou are convinced that you can guide the blind and you are a light on top of the mountainYou think you can instruct the ignorant and teach the young ones about God’s waysYou are certain the God’s law give you some kind of an advantage (Complete knowledge and truth)If you teach others, why don’t you teach yourself?You tell others not to”Steal – but do you stealCommit adultery – But do you?Condemn idolatry – use stolen items from pagan templesYou are proud of knowing the law, but you dishonor God by breaking itWhat would Paul write about todays Christians? About you and IGod what should I speak about?What happened?What happen to a group that has knowledge, that the Word was not second hand?
