What is Success?

In this episode, Mike takes a look at what success is. He explains that what might be successful for one person would be considered completely different for another person. Also, Mike finds that an individual’s definition of success changes depending on the circumstances in your life and also what stage you are in life. Success is derived from what goals you set in your life and your ability to reach them. And once you set one goal and reach it, then its time to set another one to continue to push yourself. A recent injury to Mike forced him to change his life goals as he learned to life with the aftermath of the injury. He doesn’t allow this change to get him down, instead he changed his frame of mind, and can still be successful – just in a different way. Mike talks about a few different clients and friends that have physical hardships that have had to redefine their vision of success because of these hardships. These people give Mike strength to deal with his recent injury and help him reframe his idea of success.
