Lorenzo is back with another murder case, and this time, he's moving onto a west coast crime. 1980's actress Rebecca Schaeffer seemed to have everything going for her: stunning looks, a successful modeling career, tremendous acting ability, and a bevvy of auditions for well-known film franchises. Some say she was going to be the "next big thing." All of that changed in July 1989 when Robert John Bardo, who had been a stalker of hers, used a private investigator to come to her house. After two failed attempts to infiltrate the set of My Sister Sam, which she co-starred in, and upon seeing her perform a sex scene in a movie, Bardo had had enough. After she asked him to leave her house and never return, he did return, which was when he shot and killed her. This is an interesting tale that gives new meaning to the "obsessed fan" stereotype.
