Jesus Huerta de Soto explains that under a libertarian society where all resources, land, and property are owned privately, the problems of immigration and emigration essentially disappear. The problems that are related to immigration and emigration are a result of government intervention. He lays forth the ways in which government intervenes and proposes a libertarian solution for dealing with immigration problems under the existence of the nation-state.
