Award winning, multi-faceted artist, Marie-Josée Chartier is presenting work in Ottawa this week. She speaks with Allison about scale, big projects and small projects, her company, Chartier Danse, working with humans, and the voice.
She is presenting Diptych at Series Dance 10 at the Ottawa Dance Directive May 11-13, 2017. The show features two choreographic variations – a study for quartet and a study for soloist – to the musical work of a Canadian composer. The evening will also feature a solo choreographed by Peggy Baker and performed by Jacqueline Ethier.
