Robyn Foyster - The Carousel, Founder & Publisher

For almost ten years, Robyn Foyster has been the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Australia’s three biggest flagship magazines and on line women’s brands  – The Australian Women’s Weekly, Woman’s Day and New Idea.

Most recently, she was publisher of Bauer Media Group’s most profitable and prestigious magazines including Harper’s BAZAAR, Cosmopolitan, Madison, Grazia, Good Health and Woman’s Day.

Robyn was responsible for all areas of the business including circulation and advertising revenues, digital platforms and brand extensions. She launched numerous initiatives to increase profitability and inspire staff to achieve excellence and increase performance and results.

Prior to that, Robyn was Lifestyle Editor for the Seven Network’s Sunrise and Editor-In-Chief of The Australian Women’s Weekly.  During her two-year editorship, Robyn increased magazine sales and held the number one sales and readership figures in Australia with a reach of 2.18 million people a month.

Robyn has received numerous magazine awards including the industry’s highest honour.  She won Editor of the Year at the 2007 Magazine of the Year Awards. Under her helm as Editor, New Idea, was also crowned Magazine of the Year and won the General Interest/News category.

She was responsible for New Idea’s highest sales and readership figures in over ten years.
