EaglesFanCast 231 - Eagles Cowboys Nothing

January 04, 2018

The Philadelphia Eagles finish out the regular season with a 6-0 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, marking the Eagles first loss both at home this season, and first loss against an NFC East team. What does this mean? Nothing! They finish the season 13-3, made the playoffs, clinched a first round BYE, are the number one seed in the NFC, and have home field throughout the playoffs. This was a season unlike we’ve had since 2004, where the Birds had some notable injuries as well. The Eagles play their first playoff game in two weeks at home. Nick Foles has struggled the last couple games, and that is the biggest concern. We need him to play well. Not great, but well enough to lead the Offense with sustained drives. The Defense can handle the rest. We find out in a few days who the Eagles will play, and we will be watching and waiting. Our favorite Eagle, Brian Dawkins, is one of the finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Few deserve the honor more than that man.
