In SciComm episode 6, I am joined by Jen Ro. Jen’s research focusses on plants which started with her senior honours project, studying the effect of cold in the germination and flowering of two invasive plant species.  She then moved on to the University of Delaware to study for her Masters where she focused on the effect of heat and light on the photobiology in Zooxanthellae. She is now studying for her PhD which looks at how soybeans regulate their gene expression during cold stress.
