In SciComm Episode 3, I am joined by Mario Toubes Rodrigo, a PhD student from Manchester Metropolitan University. Mario is currently carrying out his PhD in Glacial Microbiology, where he is hoping to understand how microbes react with the ice and sediment, and what kind of role they have on weathering and biogeocycling, both of which can have implications regarding climate change.
