Valedictorians are Less Valid

June 18, 2017

Drew Steele of KSL NewsRadio digests the recent news coming from the Associated Press about many schools dropping the tradition of naming a valedictorian. Half of the schools in the U.S. are no longer naming class rank.  There's no real need to do that. They don't do that to be better than others, it's to try and get into a better high school. Kids in the future are never going to get it if they hear that term.   They're taking this away for all the wrong reasons. The goal is to make everyone equal.
