I hope that we never forget the events that happened on that tragic day. September 9, 2011 will live in my memory forever. I can tell you exactly where I was and what I was doing when it happened. I could tell you almost minute by minute as the planes hit the towers and as the towers collapsed.

I lost many friends in the wars that followed this tragic event, and I will not let their memory die in vain. We have all developed opinions since that tragic day, but I ask you to remember how we came together as a nation and stood stronger the days, weeks, and years that followed that event.
