Eric, who is originally from East Tennessee, received a Ph.D. in social psychology from Arizona State University. He is currently an Associate Professor of Psychology at Albion College, where he has taught for almost 10 years. In general, his research examines the relationships among religious fundamentalism, cognitive styles, and prejudice, though he has a wide variety of research interests including life meaning, meaningful coincidence, scale construction and validation, and gender.
