Winter container gardening is on our minds here as winter has come with a vengence.  If we had the illusion that we would be doing any more work outside we those illusions were shattered with the below zero temperatures that we have suddenly been faced with.  
This time of year can be dreary and depressing for those of us who hope for a long cool season growing season or a chance to do more outside.  The best cure for those blues is to get your hands dirty growing green things, and you don't have to stop gardening when the snow starts flying.
