Episode 12- Propagating perennial plants from cuttings for food forests, gardening, and permaculture

October 19, 2014

Perennials are one of the best ways to create your own healthier, more nutritious food and not only do they require much less effort on your part than growing annual plants, but they will keep producing year after year.
The cost of perennial plants, fruit and nut trees, or shrubs often limit the number of perennials that the average homesteader, gardener, or permaculturist is able to plant but propagating from cuttings is a great solution for this problem.  Literally hundreds of plants can be grown from cuttings at little or no cost and the process is so easy that anyone can do it with no special equipment.
Listen to the podcast and learn how to handle softwood, semi-hardwood, and hardwood cuttings of perennials and start your own food forest!
