In celebration of the second season of Star Trek: Picard, our friends at Strange New Pod are having a podcast festival entitled “Captain Picard Week”.

A number of Trek Podcasts gathered to talk about Star Trek’s favorite Frenchman who is incredibly English, and they let the scrappy underdogs in, too!

We were joined by Girafe from Strange New Pod to dive into the connection between JLP and the enigmatic El-Aurian Guinan.

TNG’s bartender, listener, and confidant had a connection with Picard that literally stood the test of time and space itself. From the 19^th Century, to within the depths of the Nexus, Picard and Guinan are linked.

We break down what we like between the two, and what we hope to see in Whoopi Goldberg’s upcoming return to the role in Picard Season 2. And thanks once again to Girafe for joining us!
