When God created the heavens and the earth as recorded in Genesis chapter 1, as creation unfolded, in verses 4, 10, 12, 18, 21 and 25 we read that God was pleased with His creation.  As He stepped back to behold what He had created He said “it is Good”

But after He made man, in V.31 we read that “God looked over all he had made, and He saw that it was very good!

When God made you He made something very special
Exodus 19:5
Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

Deuteronomy 7:6
"For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.

Psalm 8:5
Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor.

1 Peter 2:9
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

Revelation 1:6
And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

When God "saved" us He included many things; far more than only eternity in heaven.  The word "saved" is the Greek word Sozo which the Spirit Filled Life Bible defines as "To save, heal, cure, preserve, keep safe and sound, rescue from danger or destruction, deliver. Sozo means to save from physical death by healing and from spiritual death by forgiving sin and its effects."
The Bible tells us that God wants to provide His people with "Sozo" in every area of life.
