Episode 10 is a Twofer! Catherine Gray and Will Bigham are married creatives, who together formed their own production company, Shamrock Motion Pictures. For this hour-long conversation about all things theatre and film, Cat and Will are joined by Chuck and Carmen, and conversation topics range from getting your first post-graduate job, to being married and raising children in the business. This free-wheeling conversation touches on acting, directing, producing, arts education, where and how love fits into the equation, and how film-making is similiar to selling used cars.
Catherine Gray is a creative executive at Shamrock Motion Pictures and has worked as a producer, writer and actor in Hollywood for the last ten years. She produces content for many clients including Pickleball Channel, Real Life Church and Hyland’s Homeopathic. She has produced numerous short films including GLASS EYE and LUCKY PENNY, which garnered national attention, and the award-winning DVD series EMPOWERING PILATES FOR TEENS. Also know for her stage work, Catherine has been a professional actress and playwright for over 20 years. Her years of experience in all aspects of entertainment give her a unique diversity and perspective. She is a powerhouse with a vision, creating products that are both professional and distinctive.
Will Bigham has been working and living in Los Angeles with his wife and two daughters for the past ten years. In 2007, Will competed in the DreamWorks Television and Mark Burnett Productions reality competition "On the Lot." From the initial 12,000 entrants, Will was selected to be one of 50 directors competing for the top prize, and by the end of the summer, Will was the last man standing. An MFA grad from Florida State University, he is now developing several projects through his production company, Shamrock Motion Pictures and recently directed the award winning short film series “Seasons†and the feature length film, “The A-List.â€
