Crystal (Woolard) Johnson is a graphic designer based in Long Beach, California. She specializes in telling stories through images - from marketing collateral to invitations to logos to video.
Currently the head graphic designer at South Coast Repertory (since 2007), she has a BFA in Graphic Design from Eastern Michigan University and studied abroad for a semester at the London College of Communications. She works with playwrights, the marketing department and Artistic Director to bring key art for plays to life for the run of the campaign. Some clients include: Cal State Fullerton; The Corner Sketch Comedy; Detroit Dance Collective; Diablo Sound; Josh Casey, comedy juggler; Kala Entertainment: fire hooping; Peter Sparling Dance Co.; UC Irvine; University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University, Synamoon games, Artists at Play, She Bakes A Lot, Comedian Ahmed Ahmed, Williamston Theatre, MicePace Mazes.
