If you’re a new filmmaker, the thought of working with a composer may not even have entered your brain yet…but without a score, a movie is just a bunch of people talking about stuff and running away from explosions like regular folk. No excitement. No drama. Just some guy running for his life against a backdrop of birds chirping and cars passing by, like a chump.
