Take the work-from-home thoughts by Malcolm Gladwell as heard on the one hour and forty-minute podcast, The Diary of a CEO (listen here). When the New York Post pulls a short segment from that long-form interview, headline readers and Twitter warriors run with it and want to cancel Malcolm Gladwell. The point is, there’s context. Seek to understand. Snippets, segments, bits, headlines — they are all useful, but we must understand the risk. Now if someone really does seek to understand, this is where the long-form content along with snippets work together for the better.
