Chanelle Kazadi grew up in Ravenna, Ohio, a small town about an hour outside of Cleveland. After spending a few years pursuing a career as a boxer, Chanelle decided to try her hand with music at the encouragement of some of her friends. She quickly realized that she had discovered her true passion.
In 2018, she launched her career with the self-released project Alter Ego. The project was well-received, giving her the motivation to continue on. Soon after, she released two EPs, Harvest Hooligan & Paystub. In 2021, Chanelle signed with Cincinatti-based Four by Three Records. On June 25th, 2021, Chanelle released her debut album Make It Work, which peaked at #18 on the iTunes Store Hip-Hop/Rap album chart and #162 on the all-genre album chart.
