In a recent report, it was calculated that Americans spend more time on social media than any other major Internet activity, including email. (Business Insider Sept. 26, 2014) We are sharing photos, composing tweets, displaying our likes, commenting on friends’ activities and posting status updates in bite-size chunks. Together, we touch on a variety of factors in social media engagement, including generational differences, and the impact on our personal development. This is the 18th episode of the Capturing Life Through Technology Podcast, and features a discussion with author, blogger, and co-creator of the 30-Day Digital Journaling Challenge, Bakari Chavanu.
