Kali:  Welcome to the first episode of Charred Hearts! It is Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 10:00pm Eastern Time.
We are your weekly podcast all about nerd love and everything that goes along with that. Think of us as your very own “Loveline for nerds.” That means for the show to be successful, we absolutely need listener input! We want your deepest, darkest questions, comments, and topic ideas – no subject is taboo!
I am Kali, a.k.a. NerdiChar. You may know me from HotScast where I co-host a podcast all about Heroes of the Storm. I am a Psychology PhD candidate, gamer, and avid nerd. I have been married, divorced, and everything in between. My goal for this podcast is to create an environment where you can ask your burning questions about anything and everything, then provide you some helpful answers based on my experiences and knowledge. Just remember our disclaimer – this podcast and any advice given is for entertainment purposes only. We are not medical doctors!
Well enough about me! Let me introduce you to my handsome co-host, the one, the only…Adam, a.k.a. RandomGeek!
Adam:  I am a host of another Heroes of the Storm Podcast, The Nexus, Co-Host and Brewmaster for Monk Meditation and I have a few other things in the works that will hopefully be out by the end of the year. I am married with a 17 month old daughter but have gone from the high school geek who couldn’t talk to girls without stammering and stuttering to an adult who is confident and comfortable in social situations. I have been in all sorts of different relationships from long distance, online, long term relationships and quick pme daters. Also running the gambit of meeting women in person, at weddings, from friends and families as well as online dating. So I have a large experience of life lessons when it comes to dealing with the fairer sex.
Kali:  The moral of the story here, folks, is that playing Heroes of the Storm makes you a love guru! I am just kidding. Thank you for introducing yourself to our listeners, Adam!
