We can throw the word “love” around. We love this or that or whatever. We can do the same when we say we love God. We say easily that we love Him, but in this passage, we see that God wants us to love Him with ALL of us. All of us includes all our secrets, our dreams, our finances, our plans, our family, our everything! God wants all of us. It is the deepest and hardest kind of love because there is no wiggle room. We give Him everything. When we trust Him with everything, He then teaches us how to love. We cannot truly love other people unless we first love God.
