Life experience has a way of blurring our view of God. We think we see Him; we think we know what He is like; but what we are truly seeing is a blurred vision of what we assume He might be. People have come into our world and told us who God is supposed to be. Tradition, experience, and misunderstanding, God has become something He is not. We think He is compassionate and we assume He is graceful, but we don’t really know because we cannot see clearly. When we look to Him; when we study His word, God comes and begins to clean our vision. He helps us to see Him clearly, and what we will see is Jesus.
