In this miracle God shows us that He can use what we have and do exceedingly more than we can even imagine. God wants us to enlarge our vision for ourselves. God loves taking people who think they are insignificant and perform great miracles through them. When we give all we have to God and surrender our life sacrificially in the way we live, He will bless what we have and give us the increase.

God works in the supernatural while we can only envision the natural. We must have faith and trust in the abundance of our Father. This is the lesson that Jesus wanted to impart to His disciples. He blessed the meal and broke it. Anything that is blessed and broken in Jesus name will multiple. Jesus allowed this miracle to happen in the disciples’ hands because He wanted them to remember and to carry the blessing that Jesus will provide everything they needed. We, in turn, should step out in faith and let God do the multiplication.
