The people who are most familiar with us will try to keep us from becoming who God called us to be simply because they do not understand. People want to cling to the familiar; they will label us and try to keep us from changing by reminding us of who we were. We can beat these labels by choosing to believe every day in what God’s Word says about us. When we embrace the Word of God as our bottom line, there is nothing that others can say or do that will change us.
