There are plenty of single, attractive, intelligent, university educated women in the world. Although this is a good thing, there doesn't quite seem to be the same number of men who fit the same description. So if you're a young woman who complains that there simply aren't enough good men out there, you're right. It turns out the numbers add up. Although it does happen that people from different education backgrounds can have successful relationships, it's more common that birds of a feather flock together. So finding someone who has the same socio-economic level as you can be very difficult. And that's why smart women can't find love. But the real question is why aren't there as many males in university as there are females. When we were in high school, I remember being encouraged to not go to university but instead take up a trade like an electrician or a carpenter. Those are noble professions, and very much needed in the world, but they don't help educated women find a partner.
