The Muppets were a big part of our childhood. With TV shows and movies like Muppets Take Manhattan and Muppet’s Christmas Carol, they were a big part of who we became as adults. And with that, ABC has launched a new show with The Muppets on primetime. The premise of the show is The Muppets are taking on a more adult theme to not really appeal to kids more the people who grew up with them. The Christian group One Million Mothers however have a problem with the new show saying things like The Muppets will be tackling things like abortion and promiscuity. You know, the typical things right-wing Christians get offended by. The only problem is they haven’t seen the show and are only basing this on what they’ve seen in the promos. They sent out a press release saying warning parents to keep their children away from this show. So are the muppets too adult? Well, we won’t know until the show airs.
