I’m chatting with Tamara who is the General Manager of BuildHer, a DevelopHer and is on the home stretch of building two amazing houses in Beechworth, Victoria that are set up for family accommodation - John and Jane’s Beechworth. 

In this episode, we’re discussing Tamara’s journey of developing her incredible project from a distance. 

Tamara shares the challenges and obstacles, the research that went into the building and planning and finding the niche in the market for a luxurious property in an iconic small town. 

Tamara and her husband Ben are super excited to be taking bookings now! She talks about the invaluable support she’s received from being surrounded by an incredible community of people inside BuildHer and the evolution of design that is both fun and daunting that has led her to this moment.

Tamara shares her tips and tricks for managing a project that is far away from where she lives. Having an architect that is very clear in their drawings made the job far easier and having great regular communication is incredibly important for a successful build.
