Who Is Christina West?
Christina A. West earned her MFA from Alfred University in 2006 and since has extensively exhibited her work across the country. Recent solo exhibitions include Screen at the Mattress Factory, Pittsburgh; Stage Left at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville; Stay Asleep at Plug Projects, Kanas City, MO; Unmet at CG2 Gallery, Nashville; and Intimate Strangers at the Mindy Solomon Gallery, Miami.
West’s work has been supported by a grants and fellowships from the New York Foundation for the Arts, The Archie Bray Foundation for Ceramic Arts, the George Sugarman Foundation, The Bemis Center for Centemporary Arts, and the Viriginia Groot Foundation. West is an Associate Professor at Georgia State University’s Welch School of Art & Design. She is represented by Hathaway.
