Larry Bell is the owner of Destination Discovery—a tour and travel company specializing in small group travel. They organize and manage tours in the United States, Western Canada, France, England, Italy and Morocco.
He had an interesting and eventful career in the United States Air force–but he flunked retirement. Larry sold real estate for a while, substituted in the local school system and taught some college courses. Teaching was quite satisfying—real estate, not so much.
One thing he really enjoyed about serving in the Air force was the opportunity to travel. He remembers the advice someone once gave about deciding on a career, “Find something you are passionate about and figure out how to make a little money doing it.” Through a series of coincidences, Larry found out that he could actually travel and get paid to do it. He had never even considered it before.
