120: The Douse & Run Method

August 08, 2014

I rant about yet another pivot at Foursquare, why their new background discovery features should have been their original concept as opposed to the “check-in” model and how the app still does little for those outside of major urban centers.

In addition, I lambaste startups who glorify the “sharing economy” to rationalize their lack of investment in a sustainable infrastructure, why Silicon Valley’s unpopularity doesn’t extend to the lower-income families outside of San Francisco, how AOL’s primary revenue stream is a house of cards waiting to fall, and how Yelp is finally getting what they deserve by being sued by their own shareholders.
