110: What are Digital Therapeutics?
Have you heard of the term Digital Therapeutics?
If you’ve listened to our recent past episodes, you’ll know we’ve been covering topics related to digital health and technology-enabled healthcare. You may also have hear the term “digital therapeutics”. This opens up questions about what separates these types of technologies and devices from your standard consumer-facing digital tools, like activity trackers and the like. Many of these tools play a role in “digital health”, but what differentiates digital therapeutics from a digital health device or solution?
This week, I share a conversation with RJ Kedziora from Estonia health. RJ has been helping digital healthcare companies build and develop digital therapeutics for two decades. Today, Rafi helps innovative healthcare companies like technology startups, platforms, and SaaS companies develop effective positioning strategy and business development plans through his consulting work.
