Bio:

Gwen C's sound is melodic and tribal, with its roots firmly in the underground psychedelic trance world. Her musical adventure started out as the drummer for an all-girl punk band called The Phoeboes, (now called Running with Scissors) in 2000. Not being able to ignore the dance scene any longer, she found her hands on vinyl at any given opportunity and it has been a natural progression into deep, driving psy trance.

Inspired by the Swiss, Swedish and German producers and labels her style is unique and very rare for a female DJ, as she plays progressive trance, to full on night psy trance and takes a completely different turn delivering a driving and melodic minimal set as Soleil. Her motto "Dancing to music is an expression of what you're feeling - may the music you hear make you want to express your inner beauty and joy to be alive.
