There was so much hype coming into this CBA season around Emmanuel Mudiay. Will he live up to his expectations? Was it the right move to skip college and play pro ball in China? Is he the next basketball superstar?

Well according to Marc Stein of ESPN:

One game into Chinese season already hearing murmurs of in-house frustration w/play of Guangdong’s Emmanuel Mudiay. Something to monitor

Now it’s only the first game and one must assume that Mudiay’s game will develop, but in China if you don’t produce then you are out.
