SOURCE: Clippers interested in CBA import Bobby Brown

March 08, 2014

Despite being down 2-0 in a best-three-out-of-five CBA semi-final series, Bobby Brown can see light at the end of the tunnel.

Various sources have confirmed the Los Angeles Clippers are interested in signing Brown once his Chinese season (playoffs series) comes to an end.

But don’t think that’s stopping Bobby Brown from trying the win the CBA championship.

Brown was runner-up in the CBA foreign MVP race. He averaged 31 points, four rebounds, 6 assists and 1.6 steals per game while playing leading his team to third overall during the CBA regular season.

On December 27th, 2013, in a double-overtime thriller; Bobby Brown of the Dongguan Leopards put up 74-points and hit the game winner on a running floater (had he pulled up for three, he would have tied the 75-point record set earlier this year).

While under contract with the New Orleans Hornets during the 2009-2010 season, Brown was the third string point-guard behind to Chris Paul and Darren Collision. Ironically, Brown would fall under the same circumstance in LA with Paul being the starter and Collision playing backup.
