Brian Scott

As Barely Controlled Radio rolls on, I've used quite a variety of guests, ranging from actors to swimmers to country music performers and songwriters. Today I add one more category to the list, NASCAR drivers. Brian Scott is a friend of mine that I literally watched his first ever NASCAR race in 2007. As our friendship grew, I got to experience what "race day" is like for a NASCAR driver, as I sat on his motor home with his family members. It was a great experience and one I'll never forget. The fellas and I had t-shirts made in support of Scott, and he must've felt it. He finished top 5 in that race at Lowe's Motor Speedway if I am remembering correctly. Scott is just a true warrior in life and on the track. I never heard any negativity come out of his mouth. From going out on the lake on his boat to going to races to now him being married, Scott has come full circle in life and has not changed a bit.
